CHA Recap – Better Late Than Never

So I figure I should blog about CHA before I forget it entirely! Better late than never huh!!

So this was my very first time going to a show and I was SOO excited! Mostly because some of my work was going to be featured in a booth! AND the fact that the show was in vegas this year meant that I definitely had to go!
I really loved seeing some of my projects that I made for basicgrey in their booth! This all has happened so fast that it’s been like a dream! It was such a cool moment when I got to the booth and saw my projects there for the first time!my other favorite thing about attending the show was being able to meet some of my favorite designers! Maggie Holmes was great and I’m so looking forward to her new line Flea Market! I’m dying over her brokeh frames and all the lovely gold in her collection!Meeing Amy Tan was fun and we chatted for quite a while about all thing baby related! Isn’t she so cute with her little belly! I love it!I’m not going to lie, I was the most excited to meet this awesome lady! Becky Higgins is such a role model of mine and getting to chat with her was the highlight of my CHA experience! I’m such a huge fan of Project Life and getting to meet the brains behind this fantastic concept was a dream come true!This wasn’t the first time I’ve met Elizabeth Kartchner but it was still fun! Her new line Polka Dot Party is going to be a big hit, I can already tell!! Oh ya know, just hangin out with Teresa Collins, and Kristine McKay Hanging out with Tim Holtz was pretty cool too! Watching him demo was amazing! He really is talented!! 

but I swear the drive home took foreverrrrr…. and a half. I was so anxious to see my kiddos (it was the first time I’d ever been away from them) and it was soo nice to see my two lilttle cuties after three days of being away!

oh and by the way, this is exactly how I felt as I was driving away from said little ones
