Okay, so there are probably a bunch of other things that I could or even should be blogging but I just couldn’t help myself!! I’ve finished my December Daily cover and first page!
As most of you know I’m a sucker for navy so when I decided on using this album from basicgrey I thought, should I paint it navy? uhhh YES!!! Yes, I should! It took foreverrrrr for the paint to dry though…. but when it was finally finished I had a blast embellishing the cover.
I’m in love with the way it turned out! I’m especially excited because the main product that I’ll be pulling from is BasicGreys 25th and Pine which incorporates a ton of navy, heck yes!
So, I know it’s not the first of december yet but I just couldn’t stop! I love, love, love page protectors and this year I’ve decided to use only page protectors and no actual paper pages. I’m quite excited about this because last year when I pre-made a lot of my pages, I found myself frustrated because my pictures either didn’t work well with the pre-made page or an element needed to be moved over a quarter of an inch or something similar. So this year I’m not really pre making any of my pages and I’m going day by day. I’m not too worried though, I always have a ton of ideas for page protectors!
totally digging on gold this year too. I’m not sure which I like more, navy or gold!!
Wow, what a cool looking project, it is going to be so much fun to add to all of December
This is great. I love your pages as well. I’m into the Gold and Silver. Gold must be “in” for the holidays.
I love that tiny little envelope! This is all around amazing!
you guys are just way too nice! Thank you all!
I love this, just beautiful!
This is so inspiring and beautiful!
Thank you Amelia!
Beautiful album. I can’t wait to see the other pages. Would you mind sharing what kind and color of paint you used? It is the perfect navy blue.
This album is beautiful.
It’s fantastic. Navy and gold are wonderful together, it’s going to be beautiful.
Lovely book! I’m totally into gold and navy as well… I’m using gold, navy, red, green, wood, and chalkboard in my (first ever!) DD this year. I don’t do well with pre-planning pages either, so I’ve just made lots of cards to insert into pockets. I haven’t decided if I’m going to do paper pages or not. I’m looking forward to seeing what you come up with on this project.
Your cover is gorgeous! I have a coat of gesso on mine and am contemplating chalkboard paint. Fingers crossed.
