okay okay, here it is… a few more pages of my DD. I was being totally serious about this album kicking my but… I’m having the hardest time keeping up with it this year… maybe it’s because were busy selling our house, buying a new one, getting ready to move to Alaska, yep I said it… ALASKA! and on top of all that, everyone in my house is sick!
so you might notice I already posted this page in the last blog post, but I added a few new things so I thought I’d show you all. I don’t know about you but I hate it when a page or project doesn’t sit right with me. I’m very dedicated to my work and one of my rules is don’t stop until you’re completely happy with the finished project. I’m kind of a perfectionist so this probably doesn’t surprise some of you but since I started doing it, it’s made a HUGE improvement in the quality of my work. woah – tangent over… anyways, as I was saying… I got this idea from Elizabeth Kartchners December Daily from last year and I really love it because it covers all the things I don’t like about this page and gives it something cool and funky, which I love.
I’m in love with the awesome acetate pages from the new Allison Krefts line, It’s Christmas!
I love doing fun little interactive things in my books so this vellum overlay is perfect!
you might also notice that a few days are missing, well that’s because they are being saved for a very special post over on the BasicGrey blog and I’ll be sure to share more on that later!
