(UPDATED) This has by far been my most popular post on the blog so, I thought I’d link some of my other Planner posts with the Heidi Swapp Memory Planner! Here, and here
okay okay!! I’m really excited to share my 2015 planner system with all of you today! Last year I used the Martha Steward disc bound system through Avery and I loved it!! Such beautiful colors and was just great for my organizational needs!
Originally I was going to just buy the new planner inserts for the MS system but I couldn’t find them and lets be real… once I saw this new planner from Heidi Swapp I didn’t even want to look for anything else!
Isn’t it sooooo pretty!! I just can’t stop looking at it and all of it’s beautiful gold foil!
the black and white stripes?? Just beautiful and then I found this pretty notebook from Sugar Paper through Target! Doesn’t it just pair perfectly with the stripes!
I thought the pockets on the inside of the binder could use a little sprucing up so I added some of my favorite glitter tape from MME and then all sorts of pretty paper clips and binder clips!
after I did some searching in blogland I had 2 thoughts… 1. Why has it taken me so long to get into this planning business?? I mean I loooove planning and I looovvvvee pretty paper, you’d think I would have married these two a long long time ago. 2. I need a sweet dashboard… like a really fun and pretty one… and this ladies and gentlemen is what I came up with!
I love love love setting goals and I love the fact that I can look at these ones anytime I want and they’re just so nice to look at aren’t they!? It makes me all motivated to actually accomplish some of these goals of mine.
The one thing I love most (besides how gorgeous this planner is) is the fact that I can also keep track of my memories!
For the past 2 years, I’ve done project life on a monthly basis. I know my life is way too busy to actually try to keep track of the week to week things so I thought a month would be way easier to handle. Basically I sit down with my iPhone pictures and put them in pocket pages and then add as much journaling as I can. I LOVE this planner because I can just slip in my pictures and some journaling and call it a day! Really easy and really low key, exactly what I need for this mama.
I also love this month calendar! I found that birthday stamp in an old House of 3 set from Pink Paislee, it was perfect for this!
this divider is probably my favorite part of the planner…. I used an old Hambly screen print with these beautiful gold cameos and I think it’s just perfect!
I also wanted to put everyone’s birthday so I used this beautiful rose gold washi tape from My Minds Eye.
I’m gunna be real though….. the only thing I don’t like and I mean really really don’t like, is that I had to hand write in all the days of the week. What I don’t like even more is the fact that there are only 6 days on two pages. Which means that monday isn’t in the same place every week AND I can’t see all the plans for one full week at the same time… I’m not sure how this is going to go over but I hope it isn’t too big of a deal because I really want this planner to work!
I still can’t get over the sheer beauty of these dividers! I have a love affair with gold foil and I hope they don’t ever stop making it!
I’m the kind of girl who loves to make lists and I loved the ones that I was using with my Martha setup but it’s not compatible with this system so I decided to make my very own!
and of course my planner isn’t complete without some doodles from the littles! I can’t for the life of me figure out how to get my kids to stay away from my planner! Oh well… it’s all about the memories right?
Please leave me some love and let me know what you think!!
I love love love your planner!! I have been looking for a planner like this! Where did you buy it? Are they still available? Great blog post and just love how creative you are!!
Thank you so much Kristin! I bought mine from Studio Calico but I believe they’re supposed to be available through Michaels sometime soon!
Hello, I just bought the HS planner and I love it. Was looking for some inspiration as how to better use it, when I found your post. Did you have any updates? How the planner is working for you so far?
It’s funny that you mention that because that’s exactly what I’m working on today! I’ll be posting about it in the next few weeks, so check back then!!
How do I buy one?? Where did you get the planner pages (even though you had to hand write all the days in there)?
Hey there! I bought the planner through Studio Calico, but they’re available through Michaels! The planner pages come with the album 🙂
Where did you get or how did you make the divider with the gold silhouettes?
It’s actually an old Hambly screen print. Unfortunately they’ve gone out of business! Sorry about that!’
I just bought mine yesterday and am setting up. Love seeing your system. Beautiful!
isn’t is so fun!! I’m loving it!!
your handwriting is gorgeous. Swooning.
ahhh well thank you Linda! So nice of you to say 🙂
Hey! Love it. Im looking for those monthly dividers with tabs as well as dashboards. Did those come with the planner or did you buy them separately? I just bought a pre-loved Louis Vuitton agenda GM and I would love to add the black and gold accessories
unfortunately they come with the binder so you would need to purchase that if you wanted them, but congrats on your LV!! That’s so exciting!!
I love it and I want one! I’m a little confused tho….. I understand u bought the binder but did the binder come with the planner inside or did u make all that up yourself? I am the most UN creative person in the world so I could never do anything remotely close to that. Also I’m a new mommy so looking for something that is good for mommies…. Does it work well in that area for u? Thank you!! -kelly
Hey there Kelly! So all of the inserts came with the binder! Awesome huh!! I’ve been loving it, I’m a mother to three and this works perfect for me! I hope this helps!
Hi,
I absolutely love the hello darling lists – where did you get them from? I’ve spent the whole day obsessedly looking for them and I’m now pretty heartbroken i can’t find them ha x

Hello,

Hello,
is there any way i can purchase this planner online ?
and do the paper comes separately?
hi there! Yep, everything can be purchased online at the franklin planner website! And yes, the pages are purchased separately 🙂
Thank you! I’ve been working on setting goals for 2016. Your “dock” idea is ingenious.
I believe something like this is just what I’ve been needing …. up front and center ….. LOVE IT!
Love your planner…..question for you, where did you get the ledger page w/the flowers at the bottom? Did you create it?
No, that actually came with the planner itself!
Hi! Is your whole planner Heidi Swapp? Down to the beautiful gold foil dashboards??
I loved!!!! I Want one pleaseee Where did you buy it? Are they still available?
So I think you might be able to find this exact one somewhere on ebay, etsy, or even a planner Facebook group, but Heidi has designed some new planners that are very very similar to this one that is sold at Michaels!
