So there are two things in life I love, scrapbooking and organizing… here’s a blog post that talks about both!! Since I was young, I’ve always loved organizing and would often spend hours organizing my clothes, or my closet. Now that passion has transferred into my scrapbooking. Since I’ve entered into the professional scrapbooking world 6 months ago, I’ve decided I need a planner to keep on top of things scrapbooking related and just plain life related! and I thought it would be fun to show you the system I’ve created to make sure I don’t forget any important details!
I love both of these planners so much and just looking at them makes me happy! The gold striped day planner is from the oh so wonderfull Target and that teal little thing is from the ahhmazing Martha Stewart line you can get from Staples (check this system out, I’m obsessed with it!)
the Martha Stewart line comes with these awesome page dividers an are plastic and really sturdy and comes in these beautiful colors!
I really like having lots of room to write things down, brainstorm, and make lists (I LOVE lists) so I use this binder that has lots of space for writing! Here are the names of some of the tabs I’ve created for this planner
-BLOG : to do list for my blog, features I would like to start, ideas and collaboration information
-TO DO : my to do list of everything no-craft related
-DESIGN TEAM : list of projects I need to make, due dates, ideas, layout sketches
-PUBS : list of calls for publications, due dates, ideas, projects I can use that are already made
-IDEAS : a place for any ideas I may have related to anything craft related
to decorate the page dividers, I used a mix of My Minds Eye, Martha Stewart, American Crafts and Studio Calico
I use this day planner to write down things on a calendar and for the other non-long term things, like meal plans or chores or church obligations.
thanks for stopping by! I hope you were inspired to get yourself organized!
Lexi this is beautiful, your AWESOME, I wish I had just a tad of your talent and skills
