Hellloooo there! I hope you all are having a fantastic day because it’s about to get even better!
The people at Picture Keeper e-mailed me a while back, asking if i would do a review of their PK 4 product and of course I said yes! I have a long and difficult history of backing up photos, a few years ago I had a computer completely die on me, leaving me miserable about the photos that were now lost forever.
As a scrapbooker, nothing is more important that backing up my precious photos. I’ve struggled for years trying to find ways to back up my photos that made me feel safe. I used to put everything on CD’s and you can imagine what kind of ordeal that was, i.e. how in the heck was I supposed to remember what photos were on each CD? Even with my methodical folder organization it was still hard.
Lately I’ve been backing up my photos on an external hard drive but that scares me as well, as they are known to die just like my computer did. The process of backing them up was also a very long one, figuring out which photos I had already done and making sure I didn’t back up everything twice on accident was a
total headache.
Enter picture keeper , the game changer when it comes to backing up your photos. It seriously is sooo easy, take a look at this video I made.
it really is as easy as 1, 2, 3!
1. Plug in your Picture Keeper into your computers USB drive
2. Start the Picture Keeper software
3. Wait for it to finish and remove!
One of the BIG draws to this product is that you don’t have to do any of the hard work, it does it all for you! It will search through your computer and detect your photos and it even makes sure not to copy any doubles!!! hallelujah I can hear the angels singing now!! Not to mention the fact that there’s no software to install, just plug in and go!
I mean seriously, can it get any easier? I think not!
It even had a feature to search just my iPhoto photos, which until the moment when I plugged it in, I had completely forgotten about and had never backed up, thank goodness for this little device!

We have been thinking hard lately about buying an external drive to back up photos & videos. I think you have just sold me though on PK!! Thanks for sharing!
I will have to buy one of these, no duplicates sold me. Thank you
This sounds really good. I also lost photos in the past when my computer was in a shop to be worked on!! It is heartbreaking to lose photos. Thanks for the opportunity to win.
This is awesome! I love the fact that it will not duplicate pictures!!
I need this in my life! I like that it does it all for you and can hold so many pictures!
And I like you on fb 🙂
I like not having to remember which pictures you have already saved. Sounds really easy!
I think it is a fabulous idea – I too backup to an external drive (on my PC and MAC), but always worry. Do you know what type of files it looks for? Most of my photos are in RAW format.
I do like that it won’t copy duplicates…that is a great feature!
I have been wanting a Picture Keeper for some time now, I love that there are no duplicates. It looks like an amazing product!
This is such a great little device! I love that it skips over duplicates and holds so many photos. I need this!
Oooh how cool! I have never heard of this before! My fave part would be that it does all the work for you–I am horrible with technology and feel like I just barely learned to copy and paste pics from folder to folder on my computer haha. So this would be perfect! Excited to follow you new facebook page too!
agh thank you so much Jenny for stopping by!!!
Thanks for the chance. I love to back up photos in several ways as I always worry they will disappear. This looks easy and super small.
My favorite part is that it eliminates duplicates for you! I have a habit of duplicating a lot of my digital photos and it takes me forever to sort through everything.
I have always wanted one of these… I too lost a computer and about 6minths of pictures and I am still grieving! It was a vacation and my son the beginning of kindergarten. The even worse part is I still haven’t backed up a ton of pics as it is such a long process. These sound like the perfect fit for me!!!
This looks so easy! Looks like a great way to backup the thousands of photos I have!
I had never heard of a picture keeper.
Thanks 🙂 I’ve been backing my photos onto a cd/DVD disc. I would love to win n try this out.
Oh man! I totally need one of these! I think the ease of the process is the best feature!!
If I read it correctly, I like that one can back up both PC and Mac. I have both, and my back up drive I saved my files on from my PC is not formatted for Mac 🙁
I had never heard of picture keeper. But the skipping duplicate pictures. Awesome.
Sounds like a great product! Sure beats all the DVDs and CDs(older) that I have hanging around!
This is just what I need. I’ve been using a click free backup system for years and I’m been worried about it dying on me. thanks for a chance to win.
How cool – and You had me at No Duplicates!
I back up on a disc. This seems so much better ! Thanks for the chance.
Looks neat! Thanks for the giveaway.
I like that it excludes duplicates. It would be great to own one.
I will be looking into this – I need to backup my pictures, but have been putting it off. This sounds like it would work well!
Brilliant!!!!!! Thanks so much for giving us a chance to win one!
I’ve been looking at getting one of these for so long – I think it would be great not to have to do anything “techy” to get my pictures backed up!
This just might be the photo storage solution I’ve been looking for!
Awesome review! Thanks for the opportunity and information!
As someone who just got married, this is perfect to keep all those memories I don’t want to lose!
This looks great–as someone who is recently married, this is a great way to keep the pictures safe. I love what you did with the review, too! Thanks for the chance to win.
This looks so cool! As a newlywed, this would be perfect for storing our wedding photos!
The best feature is the doubles, for sure. Do you know how much of these I have? LOL.
I can’t tell you how many pictures I have saved in multiple places. Great giveaway!
No duplicate photos? That sounds awesome!
Sounds like a great little tool. And no duplicates! Hooray!
I have been taking digital pictures since 2002, so I have SOOOO many pictures! I would love a safe way to store them all. Great giveaway!!

I just received my Picture Keeper which states it holds 8000 photos, however, mine shows to have downloaded 12,692 photos! Woo-Hoo! That’s what I’m talk’n bout! What a deal!
