Week In The Life – Saturday

7:00 – Jax wakes up, not to bad of a wake up time. Still a tad early for my liking but whatever. Brookie wakes up too. They watch a legos movie that Brady puts on for them. Brady takes them up for cereal.

8:00 – Kids play in playroom. Brookies playing with my old Barbies and Jax is playing with the cars.

8:30 – Attempt to go back into my office to work on my mini for a bit. Brookie finds me but I manage to distract her not too long afterwards.

11:00 – We eat lunch. Grapes, sun chips, some awesome Koolaid from the bottle and some PB&J sandwiches. We get ready to go to Trafalga.

NOON – We have a blast, there’s hardly anyone there and the lines are short. We all get soaked in the bumber boats. Kids are ruthless these days. The kids loved the arcade games, the flying airplanes ride and the big tower that drops you.

1:00 – The kids make out with 352 tickets and exchange them for some lolly pops, tootsie rolls, jolly ranchers, and a bag of cookies each. Brookie pees her pants, time to go.

2:00 – We sit down for our quiet time movie, Shrek #4. Daddy takes the cars to get them registered.

3:00 – Start thinking about what we want for dinner. We skype with Dad and Sally for quite a bit. It’s nice. The kids miss them a ton and repeatedly ask for them the rest of the day.

4:00 – Brady is marinating chicken in some yoshidas teriyaki sauce. The kids and I play outside and I see a cool pin on pinterest that teaches me all about “wacking” a new filming technique.

5:00 – I’m inspired to make a video of Brooklyn while Brady is grilling the chicken.

6:00 – Our little family sits down to eat. The Teriyaki Pineapple Burgers Brady are to die for.

7:00 – Clean up. Go downstairs. I start messing around with the video I made of Brookie while the kids are playing in their rooms.

8:00 – Scriptures. Prayers. Bed. I start really messing around with the video. imovie is pretty easy to learn, and this whole video thing is fun.

10:00 – I finish movie and go show mom. It’s her Birthday on tuesday, so it’s her gift.

11:00 – Try to go to bed but Brady’s up watching football.

12:00 – Sleep.
