7:15 – Jax wakes up and plays on daddy’s “pone” Mama checks the blog. Brookies wakes up and both of them sit down to watch an episode of Cat in the Hat, one of their faves
8:00 – Brady takes kids up to breakfast, lucky charms again this morning. Breakfast of champions, actually I’m not going to lie, I hate sugary cereals like that. Why on earth would we feed our kids pure sugar so early in the day! (p.s. I didn’t by said surgery cereal)
9:00 – Run for 2 miles, today was hard. I’m exhausted. Shower.
10:00 – Kids are coloring. Brooklyn broke a crayon again. We don’t have anymore that are full sized. I put her in timeout. She protests by laying on the ground and kicking the door. Something shes does on a regular basis and it drives this mama bonkers. Dad was awesome today he tidied up the whole house for me while I was getting dressed.
11:00 – I eat breakfast. Eggs, more sourdough and a leftover peanut butter ball (hey it’s healthy right!?) Do makeup get ready to go grocery shopping. Find out that today is the Relief Society Lunch Hour so instead we go to the park to waste some time until it starts.
NOON – Dad drops me and the kids off while he goes home to study for the boards while were gone. The lunch hour was fun. Most everyone is older than me and all their kids are grown. But I did have the best baked beans ever! That’s saying something. I HATE beans! recipe: TBS mustard, 1/2 c brown sugar, diced onion, 1lb of ground beef, 1 can pork and beans. Bake for 1 hr at 350. Delish.
1:00 – Dad picks us up and we go to the post office to drop off a package. I’ve sold some of my stuff on Two Peas and it needs to be shipped. We head over to Costco for some food and some snacks.
2:00 – Lately Brookie has been falling asleep on the way home from the store. Not today. Sad day!
3:00 – Summers almost over so I told the kids we could go swimming in the kiddie pool one more time before I put it away.
4:00 – Water started getting cold so we headed inside. Time for a quite time movie. Dad puts on Legos. (huh?) Ginger comes over and we talk paper for a bit. Man I love that lady! She is a ball of fun and I cannot tell you how nice it is to have someone who likes paper just as much as I do!
5:00 – Mom needs some super salad seasoning so Brookie and I run to Kohlers (Ridleys, but I still like to call it Kohlers). Jaxton is happy watching his movie so I leave him and dad is studying.
6:00 – Just waiting for dinner to be done.
7:00 – Everyone comes down for dinner. Mom treated us with Roast Beast, Mashed potatoes, steamed carrots, and a spaghetti salad. Everyone helps with the dishes and it’s nice family bonding time. I love this kind of time spent together.
8:00 – Read Scriptures with the kids. Jaxton says the prayer, and we put the kiddos down for bed.
9:00 – I start my Dan Brown book and the fall asleep. Dad stays up late finishing his job application for the Indian Health Services.
3:00AM – Jaxton wakes up and comes in our bed… I go lay out on the couch. This bed is not big enough for the three of us.
